Description
Calcibone® D is the formulation of calcium citrate and vitamin D3, which supplements the need for calcium and vitamin D that your body needs every day. Vitamin D promotes increased calcium absorption, helping to improve your bone structure.

Cautions and Warnings
When therapeutic doses are administered for prolonged periods, hypercalcaemia and hypercalciuria may occur. To avoid this, monitor calcium levels in plasma and urine.
In patients with end-stage renal failure, hypercalcaemia may develop when calcium is administered with meals. Monitor serum calcium levels during the dose adjustment period.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use as a substitute for a balanced diet.
Interaction with drugs: Atenolol, Iron Salts, Quinolones, Tetracyclines, Verapamil, Thiazide Diuretics.
Contraindications
Kidney stone, hypophosphatemia, hypercalcemia.
